      On 30 October 1998, Sun Microsystems Inc
      registered their:-

      Solaris 7 and on, on SPARC based platforms

      Solaris 7 and on, on Intel x86 based platforms

      as conforming to both the Common Desktop Environment and
      UNIX 98 Workstation Product Standards

      (Solaris 7, was previously known as Solaris 2.7 when it was
      registered as conforming to the UNIX 98 Product Standard in May 1998)
